guess my winter break is almost here.

well. thursday is almost here. that's when I pack up and hit the road. Off to Mexico!
...
sigh.
I don't want to go this year. I had lots of invites to hang out over break...and I can't go. And I have no new DS game to play and beat over break. During Thanksgiving I beat Kingdom Hearts 358/2. Now I have nothing. Unless I want to drill through The World Ends With You again...but I don't plan on doing that anytime soon unless a sequel is for sure coming.
Sigh. I might just get the new Final Fantasy game for the Wii for the heck of it. It looks pretty cool.
I know there isn't a lot of gamers that read my blog, but if there is one...any good games I should immediately rent?
LOL. Anyways, any of you going to Christmas Tree Lane or already went? I've never been there and probably will never go. What a bore.
My eye is hurting. I have no clue why.
Oh. Remember Alice in Manhattan, a couple posts back? Well...I'm continuing it on fanfiction.net/~rawkstarvienna.
It's where I can actually write. LOL. I also have a new story, remember Talisman? It's either that or Vienna Amaraylis (see my blog California Royalty for that) I'm entering to the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition. If I win, either book will be published. I'm so freaking excited I could make a random song out of it. *SNL Taylor Swift Monologue Ref*
...
okay. Done rambling. I gotta write! :D
ciao!

i just wish...

that this freaking headache could shut up and die.
I'm currently reading 'The Immortals' Series by Alyson Noel *E with an umlaut* I finally gave in, Leandra! xD
I'm currently STILL waiting for Hourglass by...I forgot her name but it's book three in the Evernight Series. For some odd reason Evernight reminds me of Vampire Knight, a manga. Well, both are set in creepy gothic like boarding schools, and both have a class full of vamps. And both heroines are just plain stupid. OMG. And the love interests ARE BOTH FREAKING VAMPIRE HUNTERS!
...this is sort of terrifying.
Anyways. I'll tell you about my Saturday, today.
I woke up at seven to watch cartoons. Oh yes. I was home-alone most of today, at eight my aunt went to work. After my 30 minute cartoon I popped Gossip Girl, Season 2 into my DVD player and let it roll until about 10. That's when my brother, Alejandro for future posts, finally woke up. He was thirsty so I had to make a jar of iced tea so he could stop whining. Then we both sat down and watched TV. At about 1 I started cleaning the house, being the lazy person I am. OMG. I totally forgot to take my medicine. CRAP. I should go do that before my parents get home and eat me...
ugh.
I am so bored. And to top all that off, I still have Geometry homework to do. And I DONT WANNA.
Oh. Since I started with the topic about vamp books, let me tell you about something.
The Immortals, book one; Evermore: I am so mad at Ever right now. OMG. She's like a wannabe Bella, but has more depth. It's weird. It's annoying how they do whatever they say. And what's up with Damen being such a player?!
-
I've been reading Manga again, for all you non-manga geeks, it's Japanese comic. And I love it. It's amazing. My favorites right now are Vampire Knight and Ouran High School Host Club. Millennium Snow, I might read in the future.
But I get annoyed about how everyone is so vampire centric at the moment. There are still good muses out there! YOU DO NOT NEED TO WRITE ABOUT VAMPIRES AND WEREWOLVES TO GET ATTENTION!
I mean, Robin Jones Gunn, she's amazing. I totally forgot about her until I got an email from her site. I need to start reading Christy Miller again. Then there was Vienna Prelude...I totally never got to finish that.
Stupid library.
I have to go and revive my lost book collection.
...did you notice I have no intention in finishing my homework?
Ciao, I know I'm amazing.

PS: I'm watching Gossip Girl before reviving books. LOL

Thursday, December 10, 2009

today is thursday.

I woke up today, wanting it to snow. Really bad. But no.
Oh and Laura to answer your question about how cold it has to be for me to complain: 28 degrees. That was how cold it was this week.
I have an A in Geometry! Go me! And I have no plans for the weekend, so I'll end up calling someone up. Be ready to answer your phones.
I'm bored. I get bored easily, and that makes me very sad. So I'm going to go off and watch Gossip Girl. I got the Second Season DVD Set! :D How lucky am I?
Thank you God!
...
Oh, at school they're selling 'holiday' grams. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy one...they DO have mistletoe though...
ciao!

rainy monday.

Today is Monday, December 7th.
It was a rare good day. Besides that freaking degree drop. It's freezing outside.
I'm painting my room, it's gray right now. The second coat of paint comes on today. I'm so excited, I'm already planning all the new stuff I'm adding.
Anyways, at school today I was walking towards my Biology class to find my friend Stephanie being tackled by her sophomore sister. It was like 'WTF?!'
I had to break up their 'fake' fight. LOL
After Bio I went to French, fearing the skit we were supposed to perform. But we didn't so we're doing it on Wednesday. YAY!
In Newspaper I barley avoided turning in a paragraph I sadly didn't do. I'm working on that as I type this. See, I can multitask.
Did you know that Owl City is amazing? I really love Adam's music. He amazes me.
...xD
MEDIA UPDATE!
New Series, Talisman Chronicles.
This a series about teen that just can not decide for themselves anymore. Six teens, three of them are contract assassins, one of them is a detective, and the other two are oblivious to the warzone that Los Angeles High has become.
I'm excited for this! I'm posting it on fictionpress.net.
It's a really cool site, you should check it out.
Okay, I got to bounce. Have homework to do.
Ciao!

and i won't go home without you

too bad I already did.
well, I've started to write again, miracle of all miracles. I had an Alice in Wonderland book review due this week and one of the questions was to write a short story involving the main cast. I thought this was the best assignment ever. In this history of freaking EVER.
So I'll post my story here and on liveJournal. I need everyone to read it. lol
I'm back from New Mexico, and if you read my last post you realized that I epically fail at spelling. Is epically even a word? Firefox's spell check isn't picking it up...
Hmm. My day at school today was rather unexciting. I received the homework of the centuray, well that's what I get for not going on Monday. I was sick...pretty much coughing up my guts. Wonderful.
Okay, here's Alice in Manhattan
This story is titled ‘Alice in Manhattan’. Only the major characters are included because most the characters in the original ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ aren’t that important.
Manhattan Island, New York. A city located in the middle of one of the largest metropolitan area in the United States. Here is a concrete jungle, swarmed with fashion mavens, tech wizards, rich kids, beggars, business people, and the average passerby. The streets are overpopulated with yellow taxis, carrying their passengers towards a similar destination. A blonde haired, blue eyed teen rode one of those yellow cabs, sailing towards her home.
Her name is Alice Liddell and this is her story.
Age 16, a sophomore at Manhattan Prep Academy, Alice Liddell was a girl that seemed to have everything. Alice was the youngest out of her four siblings and usually got away with anything. She excelled in math and maps but was usually marked down for her conduct. Alice usually blurts things out at the wrong time, causing her a load of unwanted trouble.
‘But I’m not going to mess up this time.’ Alice thought as the streets of New York passed her by. Everything in New York, according to Alice, was the same making it rather boring and plain. Alice’s life was dreadfully boring and the teen yearned for the days back in England at her family’s summer home. Her life had become like a bad movie and it will always be like that. Alice’s opinion on her life quickly changed when she saw a white haired teen sprinting through Fifth Avenue.
Alice hastily fixed her skirt, tugging it down and looked at the cabman.
“Drop me off here! Keep the change!” Alice slammed a crisp twenty dollar bill on the taxi’s dashboard and flew out. “Curious and curiouser!” Alice exclaimed, using her old phrase, as she ran after the boy she had seen. She clutched her jacket as her leather boots hits the cracked pavement. She knew she had to catch up; it was a matter of life or death.
‘Maybe not,’ Alice decided as she slowed down, huffing and puffing. The boy, roughly about fifteen, leaped on the busy streets, gracefully maneuvering himself though the swarm. He sported a white button down, gray jeans, and over that a fire engine red trench coat. His hair was abnormally white to go with his deadly pale skin. Alice thought that his entire outfit was simply ridiculous. No one work red when they were extremely pale, it was simply not right.
“I mustn’t be late, I mustn’t be late.” The teen chanted, checking his wristwatch every other second. Alice tiredly stopped to catch her breath. The boy cut a corner and disappeared into a dark alleyway.
“How odd,” Alice fixed her gaze on the dark depths, and made her way towards the alley. With a sigh, Alice turned her back on the alley and decided that it would be best to go home. LAST time she followed a stranger she ended up in another universe.
Alice walked back to Fifth Avenue, passing by the designer boutiques until she found a bus stop. She would have to wait. Alice sat down, crossing her legs like Guinevere, her older sister, would have and sighed.
“Well, what a pretty lass.”
Alice yelped and turned around, to see a scruffy looking teen with dark orange hair that spiked up under his forest green top hat. He had striking green eyes that brought out his fair complexion. He wore black jeans, an emerald green coat, and leather boots.
“Who are you?” Alice demanded, crossing her arms, jumping up. The stranger laughed.
“My name, you ask? Everyone calls me the Mad Hatter.” The Hatter smirked, and Alice’s eyes widened.
“I know you.”
“As do I, milady.”
Alice took a step back; she could see the bus arriving from the corner of her eye. She shook her head, disbelief in her eyes.
“That’s preposterous! Unbelievable! I was seven! It was a DREAM.” Alice emphasized ‘dream’ by shaking her hands.
The hatter shrugged. “How do you judge a dream from reality? You claim to know me but deny your visit into our realm?” He took a step towards Alice, who shook involuntarily.
“Why are you…different from the last time I saw you?” Alice was about to say how attractive he was but kept her mouth shut.
“We can choose how to manifest ourselves in this realm. Your friend, the White Rabbit was the boy you were chasing all over Fifth Avenue.” The hatter popped a stick of gum and began to chew.
Alice noticed this immediately.
“What happened to tea?”
The Hatter looked at Alice somberly. “Addiction got replaced.”
Alice took the Hatter’s calloused hand on impulse. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be.” The Hatter looked at Alice with a distant stare, and let go. “I should leave. The Duchess and Queen of Hearts are off shopping and they might go over our limit.”
The Hatter prepared to leave, until Alice took his forearm.
In that moment, time seemed to melt. Alice knew her bus had left, but that wasn’t all. New York seemed to slow, each person dissolving into each other, leaving only a mess of gray sleet, like the one that was falling down on them.
“It was nice seeing you again.” Time went back to normal.
“It was fun. We should meet up some other time.”
Alice let go and watched the Hatter disappear into the crowd. Her heart felt a tinge of regret. Time doesn’t exist in the Hatter’s world.
